14 months

Addie is 14 months!  Since she turned one she seems so much older!

Addie is now off of all her bottles, she eats only table food (with the exception of those awesome fruit and veggie squeeze pouches) and is WALKING!  She took her first steps on Memorial Day and then decided for about 2 weeks that walking was a mistake and went back to just crawling.  Well in the past week or so she has progressed to walking at least 50 percent of the time and as of yesterday she walked almost anywhere she wanted to go.  She can't stand up on her own yet so she has to crawl over to something to pull up but once she is up she will walk from there!  It is too cute to see her wobbling all over the house.

Sorry it's been like a month since I blogged last!  This has been a crazy, busy month!

Get ready for rambling and pictures...ready? Okay!


We celebrated Addie's 1st birthday!  She had a pink and green monkey theme!  It was so fun.  I can't believe my baby girl is ONE!

 We had some tables set up on the back porch.  I used bunches of bananas as centerpieces and to help keep the table cloths from blowing away!

 Addie wasn't too sure if she liked cake at first.

I think it was the best birthday she's every had.  hehe!

Addie's first Easter!

 This is an impressive feat since she only started standing on her own a few days prior!

 All dressed up and ready for church!  We visited my brother in law's church to see our niece get baptized.  Then my mother in law's birthday fell on Easter this year so we went to lunch after service! It was a fun day!

Well, it's official.  I have a 10 month old.  {how is she double digit months?}

The upside to having a 10 month old is that it isn't quite as ridiculous to start planning her birthday party!  {I may, or may not, have been 'planning' for like 3 months now....}

I finally decided on a theme...it's based off of the Pink Mod Monkey collection from Birthday Express.

How cute is that little monkey?  I think it is fitting since Addie is turning into quite the climber and dare devil.  She has no fear of gravity..that's for sure!

Did you know there are tons of etsy sellers who make fabulous products to coordinate with themes you can buy at big box retailers and major internet party stores?  It's awesome!

I'm ordering mylar balloons, napkins and dessert plates from Birthday Express and have ordered banners, a door sign and cake topper from etsy.  I'm pretty excited!

I've designed her invitations and I'm just waiting to have a little photo shoot with her Mimi to get the picture to go on them.  I've always enjoyed graphic design and after checking out the options for invitations on etsy I think I will be adding invitation services to my etsy shop very soon!  {I'll let you know when they are up!}


Basically her party is going to be pink and green polka dots with a little monkey thrown in. :)

8 months collage

8 months!

Our sweet Addie is 8 months old!

Okay, get ready for lots of pictures. Oh, and I'd like to just say that all these pictures weren't taken on the same day and I swear my daughter has more than one outfit. haha (You will see what I mean here in a bit.)

Addie weighs 20 lbs and is around 30 inches and wears mostly 12 month clothing.

She has a tooth! One lone, scraggly tooth and it is adorable. (she is tryin' to show y'all her tooth in this picture)

She loves to 'brush her teeth'.

I think really she just likes to suck the fruity toothpaste off the brush.

I kinda hope she doesn't get anymore teeth since just the one tooth is so cute. But I think she might have a different opinion once she starts school and sees all the other kids with a full set of teeth. :)

We had our first Thanksgiving with Miss Addie and she had a blast crawling around her Great Aunt and Uncle's house and getting loved on by everyone.

One of Addie's favorite activities is to dump over her toy bins and lay there playing with everything at the same time.

She also loves this stacking toy that she got from her second(?) cousin. (I get confused on how all the 2nds, 3rds, twice removed's all work.)

But most of all she loves pulling up on things and looking at books.

seven months

Our sweet Addie is seven months! This past month has been so much fun. She got to have her first Halloween and accomplished some developmental milestones as well!

Addie wears 9-12 month clothing (more 12 month than 9...she's a BIG girl!) and size 3 shoes.

She weighs around 20lbs now and is 29-30 inches long!

This month she started eating/feeding herself puffs and she LOVES them. She would seriously eat them all day long if I let her. We also tried yogurt and she loves that too! Her current favorite foods are the Broccoli and carrots with cheese and mac n cheese. Apparently has loves anything cheesy (just like her Mama!). She is eating any stage 2 foods and we are starting all the stage 3 foods that don't have meat.

Addie can now crawl and that has been so fun to see where she wants to explore.

In fact this week has been a big week in milestones for Addie. On Sunday she started to crawl with her belly off the ground (she was doing the army man before). Then on Tuesday she sat up by herself by pulling up in her toy bucket.

And just last night she got a TOOTH! So I had to go buy a toothbrush and toothpaste for her today!
